This private 60-minute off-road session lets you book the whole vehicle, making it perfect for families and small groups looking to share the experience. Because the session is exclusively yours, you can take full control of the steering wheel for the entire hour or split the driving time with your guests while others enjoy the ride as passengers. It’s all about having fun together and discovering what these powerful vehicles – and you – are capable of. Set across 50 acres of Nottinghamshire countryside, the course is a maze of twisting trails, woodland tracks, steep climbs and thrilling descents. You will tackle a mix of natural and purpose-built obstacles, with highlights including muddy dips and the famous see-saw, ensuring plenty of excitement from start to finish. You will be driving the iconic Land Rover Discovery – rugged, capable and built to handle even the toughest terrain. And because you are on private land, no previous on-road driving experience is needed. Even younger family members can join in as passengers (with the correct child seat), making this an action-packed hour of off-road fun everyone can enjoy.

Overview

  • Drive a modified Land Rover Discovery in Notts
  • Takes place at a dedicated off-road centre
  • Book the car for your chosen duration
  • Invite guests to ride or drive with you

    • Drive a manual off road modified Land Rover TD5s or 300tdi on the woodland trail
    • 5-minute instructor-driven demo with the rest of the time for you behind the wheel
    • Tackle mud, water, hills, ditches and gravity-defying side slopes
    • You will be accompanied by a qualified BORDA instructor throughout to give you advice and directions

    One Hour Session:

    • Drive time can be shared with up to 4 drivers/passengers
    • There is a café on site serving hot and cold drinks and food
    • Suitable outdoor clothing and footwear should be worn
    • Additional spectators are welcome, although due to the nature of the activity, viewing is limited
    • Minimum driver age 18
    • Maximum height 6 foot 6 inches
    • No driving licence is required
    • Children can ride as passengers as long as you bring and install a suitable booster/car seat
    • Thursday to Sunday throughout the year
    • Dates and session times are subject to availability and weather conditions
    • Minimum Age: 18 years
