This is our industrial tradition at its finest, generating high-quality functional and beautiful ironwork in both contemporary and classic designs. Don't believe us? This forge frequently works on historic and religious structures maintained by organisations like the National Trust, English Heritage, and Cdaw in Wales! And with this incredible 3 hour session, you'll have the chance to experience it as you learn how to use heat and hammer to form a decorative item made from raw iron that you can take home with you. With immense satisfaction gained from working with the materials and putting hard, physical work into creating something special, as well as learning a new skill, this Blacksmith course is ideal for those who have a creative side or are curious about this ancient form of artistry.

I received this experience as a present from my kids. In the past I have had this type of thing which turned out to be dreadful. However this company was very good. The administration was easy and the experience was fantastic. I would recommend.

Had a great day out with my brother, we did a taster session and it was surprising what we managed to make with in the time. I made a fire tool, my brother made a knife. The guys there were really friendly , and I wouldnt hesitate to go back or to recommend Oldfield forge to anyone.
