Ever thought about making friends with a skunk? Probably not. They've got a bit of a reputation, haven't they? But here's the thing - they're actually rather lovely once you get to know them. During this brilliant animal encounter in Cheshire, you'll discover there's a lot more to skunks than their famous pong. Sure, they can spray if they feel threatened, but most of the time they're calm, curious, and completely odour-free. It's their way of staying safe out in the wild - can't really blame them for that! You'll spend around half an hour with these adorable little characters, learning all about their habits, behaviour, and surprisingly gentle nature. They're also far cleverer than you might think, capable of learning tricks and even performing handstands. It's impossible not to fall a little bit in love with them once you've seen those tiny paws and cheeky faces up close. Your experience takes place at one of the top exotic animal centres in Alsager, where you'll be guided by friendly keepers who know these creatures inside out. Once your time with the skunks is up, you're free to explore the rest of the zoo and meet more fascinating residents. Perfect for animal lovers of all ages, this Meet the Skunks experience is a quirky, heart-warming gift that'll leave you seeing skunks in a whole new light.

  • The minimum age for this experience is 6 years old, with participants under the age of 11 to be accompanied by a participating adult. Participants aged between 12 to 18 must be accompanied by an adult spectator.

  • Please wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.

  • This experience is for one person, with the maximum group size of 4 participants. Spectators are welcome at the Skunk Experience, you may take pictures from the sidelines, but please note that flash photography will not be permitted. Spectators will be required to pay a £5 fee.

  • You should expect to be at the centre for approximately one hour, with forty minutes spent with the Skunks. This experience takes place at 11am, 7 days a week, year round. All dates are subject to availability at the time of booking.

    • Minimum Age: 6 years

  • This experience takes place indoors, therefore will not be affected by the weather.
