Arts and Crafts Experience Days: Kids Can Cook Too! Parent and Child Cookery Workshop – South East London

Kids love getting hands-on in the kitchen — and this is the perfect opportunity to learn together without the mess at home! This 2-hour cookery workshop in Lewisham lets parents and children explore a range of cooking techniques, skills, and recipes under the guidance of an expert instructor.

On arrival, you’ll meet your friendly chef and the other parent-child pairs taking part. This is a fantastic chance for parents to spend quality one-on-one time with their child while discovering exciting new dishes and flavours in a relaxed, fun environment. Even the fussiest eaters will be eager to taste their creations when they’ve helped make them!

Throughout the session, you will be encouraged to try new skills and experiment with flavours. Adults can enjoy a complimentary glass of wine, and there’s a selection of soft drinks available too. At the end of the class, all food will be packaged for you to take home and share — and don’t worry, the washing up is taken care of!

Perfect for returning to basics with your child or inspiring a budding young chef, this parent-and-child cookery workshop in London makes a memorable and delicious experience gift.

  • Suitable for children aged 6+.

    If you or your child has any allergies, please make the instructor aware at the point of booking.

    This experience is wheelchair accessible; however, they only have limited wheelchair spaces. It would be on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Please bear in mind that the room can get quite warm, so please dress in something comfortable. There will be a lot of standing so you'll need sensible footwear too.

    All equipment and aprons are provided, although you can bring your own apron.

    You will be required to bring your own containers to take your food home with you.
