Set within the beautiful Hoo Farm near Telford, this family-run park is home to an incredible mix of creatures — from furry mammals and cheeky primates to slithery reptiles and spiky hedgehogs. Each animal has its own quirky personality and habits, and the friendly keepers love sharing fascinating stories and facts about their daily routines. Your adventure begins in the Reptile House, where things get a little scaly! Depending on the day, you might meet Mojo the Burmese Python or even the park’s resident Reticulated Python. Next, it’s time to turn up the cuteness as you head over to the Hedgehog Enclosure, where kids can learn how to safely handle these spiky little characters — yes, it’s possible! Then it’s on to feeding time, and few animals enjoy mealtime more than the Lemurs. In the Lemur Forest, you’ll spot their distinctive ringed tails, grey coats and bright white faces as they eagerly tuck into their food. To round off the experience, you’ll visit one of Hoo Farm’s biggest favourites — the Meerkats! These curious little creatures live in close-knit clans, always keeping watch and looking out for one another. Getting up close to them (and snapping a few photos!) is often the highlight of the day.     Itinerary

    Skunk - Get to know this adorable and misunderstood animal while learning all about their unique defences and personalities

    Desert Hedgehog - Discover the tiny, spiky wonders of the desert as you meet a curious and charming desert hedgehog

    Snake - Depending on the day, meet a fascinating snake species, learning about their unique textures, behaviours, and myths!

    Lemur - Spend time with the social lemurs, watch them leap from branch to branch, and learn all about their rainforest homes

    Meerkat - Get up close with these curious and ever-watchful meerkats, and see their playful antics up close

    • Participants should arrive 10 minutes before their session start time for registration
    • Normal admission to the centre applies for non-participants
    • Please be aware that the animals' welfare is of utmost importance.  The animals are to do nothing against their nature, and all interactions are done on their terms
    • Juniors must be aged 6-16 and accompanied by an adult
    • Vouchers can be used by two children, but this would require an accompanying adult to purchase admission on the day
