Your tour begins outside King’s College, where you will meet your guide before setting off on a 90-minute walk through Cambridge’s cobbled streets and historic college quads. Along the way, you will discover impressive examples of Anglo-Saxon, Gothic and Neoclassical architecture, see the rooms where Sir Isaac Newton developed his theory of gravity, and visit the pub where Crick and Watson announced their discovery of DNA’s double helix structure. You will also visit several of the university’s most prestigious colleges, with the opportunity to step inside two of them.
After exploring the city on foot, you will head to the River Cam for a relaxing 50-minute punting tour.
