About the Experience

Step into the shoes of Robin Hood for an hour and try your hand at archery in the beautiful Herefordshire countryside. This relaxed session begins with a simple introduction to the basics, where you will learn how to hold the bow correctly, aim with confidence, and release the arrow with control. Once you have the hang of it, it is time to put your new skills to the test. With the countryside stretching out around you, you will take aim at the targets and see just how accurate you can be. Your instructor will be on hand throughout the session, offering tips and guidance to help you improve with every shot. By the end of the hour you will feel far more confident with a bow in your hands and might even surprise yourself with your accuracy. Archery is great fun for groups, whether it is a team building day, stag or hen celebration, or simply a memorable day out with friends. All equipment is provided, with bows in different sizes suitable for anyone aged 11 and over, so everyone can join in and give this classic target sport a go.

    • The minimum age to participate in this activity is 10 years old.
    • Dress appropriately to the weather.
    • The maximum group size is currently 6 participants due to government guidelines.
    • Spectators are permitted on site.
    • This experience lasts roughly 60 minutes, but expect to be at the venue a bit longer.
