About the Experience

Gin lovers are in for a real treat with this hands-on tasting and distilling experience in Staffordshire. Set in a beautifully restored former schoolhouse in Tittensor, you’ll be welcomed by one of the resident gin tutors and taken on a relaxed tour of the building, which dates back to 1861 and was built by the Duke of Sutherland. Over the course of three to four hours you’ll sample a variety of different gins, including the distillery’s own creations, and find out how to match them with the right tonics, mixers and garnishes to really bring the flavours to life. Once you’ve explored the different botanicals, you’ll step up to your own miniature copper still and, with guidance from the master distiller, craft a unique recipe that reflects your taste. Your finished blend is then bottled and labelled, ready to take home and enjoy at your leisure. It’s a fascinating and indulgent experience for anyone who appreciates a good G and T, and a thoughtful gift idea for friends or family who like to keep their drinks cabinet stocked with something a little bit special.
