Built from a real ex-British Airways 747 that retired from long-haul service in 2020, this extraordinary simulator transforms the aircraft’s upper deck into an immersive flight environment. Alongside a full-sized cockpit, you will also find an authentic business class cabin complete with ambient lighting and reclining seats once used on long-haul routes. Your group can share the experience however you choose, with space for everyone to get involved. Take turns in the Captain’s seat with your instructor in the First Officer’s position, while others enjoy the jump seats or relax in the original upper deck business class area, watching the action unfold. With your 45-minute flight, you can enjoy everything from scenic flights to take-offs and challenging landings at airports like Innsbruck, popular with families and groups alike. Based at Manchester Barton Aerodrome, there’s also plenty to explore on the ground, including an on-site café and views of over 100 resident aircraft, from helicopters to air ambulance and police aircraft.
