About the Experience

Archery Experience Days: Hit the bullseye with a one-hour archery lesson for you and a guest at Polowood Shooting Ground in Falmer!

Located between Brighton and Lewes, this range features over 15 targets, from standard faces to dartboard styles, plus exciting 3-D targets like a foam Meerkat for an extra challenge.

Your session begins with a safety briefing from a qualified GNAS or Archery GB instructor, then it’s time to shoot! Start at 10 meters and gradually progress to 30 meters, with fun games and a friendly competition at the end.

Adults use standard recurve bows, while smaller traditional bows are available for children aged 10 and up, so everyone can take aim and enjoy this action-packed archery experience together.

  • Anyone aged between 10 to 18 will need adult supervision.

  • All equipment is provided.

    You would be advised to wear sensible clothing for the weather on the day, and footwear too.

    Unfortunately, there are no disabled toilets on-site.

  • This experience runs year-round, 7 days a week, but is subject to availability.
