Embark on the 30-minute countryside excursion, heading north towards the Borough of Chorley. Marvel at Rivington Reservoir and explore the beautiful Rivington Terraced Gardens, featuring Japanese-inspired gardens, an Italian Lake, and the historic Pigeon Tower, courtesy of Mr. Lever (as in Unilever!).

    • Enjoy an Air Experience flight in a gyrocopter
    • Choose from an open cockpit (MTO Sport) or closed cockpit (Magni M24) gyrocopter
    • You will be kitted out with a flying suit for open-cockpit flights
    • Helmets with headset communication are provided
    • Experiences begin with a video presentation followed by a safety briefing

    Rivington Pike Tour

    • 30 minute flight (from engine start to engine stop)
    • Fly over the Chorley Lakes, Winter Hill and up to Rivington Pike
    • Enjoy a birds eye view of the Lord Leverhulme Japanese Gardens
    • Participants should wear comfortable outdoor clothing and closed-toe footwear
    • Please be advised that mobile phones, cameras, GoPro’s and any other video recording equipment with or without mounts / brackets / body harnesses are not permitted on board any of our aircraft as they can put the safety and wellbeing of both, pilot and passenger at risk and compromise the performance of the aircraft
    • Upon completion of the experience, you will receive a personalised Flight Certificate and have the opportunity to purchase your framed photograph
    • Spectators are welcome

    • Under 18s must be accompanied on the airfield by an adult
    • Weight restrictions: maximum 16.5 stone (105kgs)

What a fantastic experience The closest thing to being a bird. My pilot Dave was a legend, knowledgeable, safe, and interesting. We flew all around my local area, even over my house before heading over to the stunning sights of the Rivington Pike.
