This unique day out combines a ride on a vintage steam train with a delicious high afternoon tea with a festive twist served on board. On these five mile round trips running throughout December, you'll depart from Cranmore and be shown to your seats at your reserved table on the Mendip Belle dining carriage. The menu for the high tea is positively abundant with festive treats, from honey-glazed pigs in blankets and mince pies, to festive sausage rolls and sandwiches, not to mention traditional scones, Rudolph truffles and billionaire's brownies, all whilst you take in the wonderful wintry landscapes of the Somerset countryside. Plus, when you're back at the station, you can explore around this heritage railway and see the engine sheds, workshops, signal box and museum. All in all, it's a first class ride into Christmas that you won't forget!
