If tea is your drink of choice, this Tea Blending and Tasting Workshop in Bristol is a brilliant way to spend an evening. Things begin with a seasonal cocktail or mocktail to set the mood, before you join fellow tea fans in a fun matching game to get everyone warmed up. You’ll then be taken on a little journey through the story of tea, from ancient traditions right up to the comforting brews we enjoy today. With expert tea mixologists leading the session, you’ll learn the ropes of tasting and blending while discovering what makes each variety unique. The tasting itself is a treat, with nine different teas to explore, each offering a different flavour and style. A sticky chai is served to keep you cosy, followed by a live matcha demonstration where you’ll try both the classic and flavoured versions. Once your palate is buzzing with ideas, it’s your turn to get creative at the blending station. You’ll make three personalised blends to take home, complete with names and packaging, and even team up with others to create a signature group blend in a bit of friendly competition. Throughout the evening, the bar is open with a menu of tea cocktails, both with and without alcohol, to enjoy alongside the activities. To round things off, every guest receives a cotton tote filled with tea samples, a tasting journal, recipe cards and their three custom blends.
