Details for the 120 Minute Airline Pilot / Technical Instructor Simulator Experience

Product ID: 15662

Step into the world of long-haul aviation with this immersive 120-minute Boeing 747 Pilot Simulator Experience. Guided by a current or former Boeing captain – or a senior technical instructor who helped develop the simulator – you will gain a fascinating insight into life on the flight deck of a commercial airliner. You will be flying a Boeing 747-400 simulator built using a genuine ex-British Airways 747 top deck. After clocking up millions of miles under the Speedbird call sign, this iconic jumbo may have retired from the skies, but it now lives on in extraordinary virtual detail. Across your two-hour session, your instructor will show you how to handle the 747-400 while sharing real-life stories from their time in the cockpit. Whether you are new to flight simulation or already an enthusiast, you will explore aircraft systems, procedures and real-world operations in depth. From the captain’s seat, you might depart from Heathrow, practise challenging approaches at world-famous airports or tackle demanding weather conditions – all within a fully immersive, full-scale setup. Held in Manchester, this 120-minute Boeing 747 simulator session makes an unforgettable gift for anyone who’s ever dreamed of working in an ‘office in the sky’.
