Although the day was well presented and full, and although I have not done blacksmithing before the course was too basic for me. If another more advanced course was available I would certainly go again.

The experience was a Blacksmithing day in the Peak District. The event was very well organised, from booking the date and time to walking out with a hand made toasting fork. Safety was top of the priority list but there was also time for fun and some excellent food. Although the work is quite heavy, it was well within our 70 years capacity as interested novices.

Excellent day blacksmithing, friendly instruction in a very well equipped forge. Learnt how to light and maintain the fire and made a poker using a variety of blacksmithing skills.

A fantastic and well led experience. Full tuition and assistance where needed by a very professional team. The venue is well suited and refreshments provided throughout the day. A great experience all round.
