Bird Of Prey Experience Days: Get closer than ever to a stunning variety of birds of prey during this unforgettable two-hour falconry experience in the heart of the Kent countryside. Learn how to handle and fly these magnificent creatures as expert falconers introduce you to the ancient and fascinating art of falconry, a practice that has captivated people for thousands of years.

Your experience begins with a warm welcome from knowledgeable instructors, followed by a safety briefing and an introduction to the birds. You will meet incredible species such as a Eurasian eagle owl and a Harris hawk, watch them take flight, and gain hands-on experience while learning about their behaviours, skills and natural instincts. Set in beautiful rural surroundings, this immersive session offers a rare opportunity to connect with wildlife in a meaningful and memorable way.

With entry also included to the scenic six-acre Coolings Green and Pleasant nature trail, it’s easy to turn your visit into a full day out. This falconry experience makes a thoughtful gift for bird lovers and a truly special family adventure to remember.

  • Minimum age: 8

    Anyone under the age of 16 will need to be accompanied by an adult.

  • Please wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a little dirty!

    There is free on-site parking available.

  • This Bird of Prey experience is available throughout the year, Tuesday - Sunday, subject to availability.

    Spectators are allowed onsite for a charge of £7.99 (adult) and £4.49 (child) - The onsite nature trail is included in this cost. 

    Unfortunately, spectators will not be permitted in certain areas but will be able to shadow the experience.
