Learn the thousands of year old skill of blacksmithing and forge an axe in a Full Day Axe Forging Workshop at a family run forge in Herefordshire. But before the forge is fired up you will be introduced to your blacksmith who will give you a briefing about the course and let you select which design you wish to make. You will be able to design and create a unique axe head, which will take shape over the day from a lump of steel to your very own tool. The axe will not only look like a work of art, it will be completely practical and designed for everyday use. During your 7 hour workshop you will learn the techniques and methods of forging a usable axe. Be warned this is a physically demanding day, but we think it's definitely worth the hard work.

Axe Forging Workshop:
- Design and forge your own unique axe head
- Forge, harden, temper and sharpen your axe
- If time allows, you will also have the opportunity to fit your handle
- The day runs for approximately 7 hours
