Combining spectacular coastal scenery with hands-on flying, this extended experience is perfect for aviation enthusiasts and adventurous flyers alike. Your 90-minute flight offers plenty of time to explore Hampshire from above, with the route taking you towards the Solent and showcasing impressive views across the surrounding countryside and coastline. Depending on conditions, you may also enjoy views of Winchester and the North Wessex Downs along the way. The microlight school is led by Chief Flying Instructor Ian MacAdam, who has been flying hang gliders and microlights since 1987. You will take to the skies in one of the school's flex-wing microlights, such as the GT450 or semi-enclosed PulsR, for an exhilarating flying experience. More than simply a sightseeing trip, your adventure is treated as a genuine flying lesson following the NPPL(M) syllabus. You will learn how the microlight and its controls work before getting the opportunity to take the controls yourself under expert guidance.

What an experience, Ian the pilot was lovely and easy going. He showed a real passion for flying, and was happy to answer any questions. It was amazing to be up amongst the clouds, it almost felt like you could reach out and touch them. Would definitely fly again in the future.
