Are you looking for a thrilling adventure in Dumfries? Try your hand at driving a 4x4 like a farmer on a working farm in the Lowlands of Scotland. During this 90-minute experience, you can put your skills to the test while also helping out with the daily farming tasks. The farm is located just outside Lockerbie and is owned by the sixth generation of the Steel family. They offer holidays, activities, and experiences, and also serve delicious beef and lamb. As you drive around the private roads, tracks, and trails of the Lockerbie estate, you'll gain insight into how the farm operates. You'll tackle tricky terrain and go through a mixture of instruction, demos, and driving. You'll learn the angle of approach for hills, test your mettle in the gullies and ditches, splash through the fords, and splatter through the mud. It's a fantastic experience that you'll definitely enjoy. An expert 4x4 driver will be with you every step of the way, showing you how to get the very best out of the Landy. They will teach you when to use four-wheel drive and when to make use of a low ratio. All sessions are tailored to your interests and abilities.     • Experiences can be tailored to individual requirements ie. when to use 4 wheel drive and 'low ratio' towing trailers etc..
    • Suitable outdoor clothing and footwear should be worn
    • Spectators are welcome although due to the nature of this experience viewing is limited.
    • Minimum age of 12
    • Under 18's must be accompanied by one free spectating adult
    • Guest passengers may ride in the back of the vehicle for an additional charge of £5 per person, subject to space
    • Minimum Age: 12 years
    • Sessions generally operate on Wednesdays and Fridays
    • Alternative days may be available, subject to a small additional charge
