Although these are classed as 'light' aircraft they are far from it. They only need 200m to take off and can touch down to land in under 300m, making them pretty powerful when they want to be. I had a wonderful flying experience at Popham airfield on 23rd August 2019. My instructor was Mike Slaughter and was clear in his instruction, warm and friendly and certainly helped make the occasion very special for me. I was impressed with the light aircraft C42 Icarus and have already made up my mind to repeat the experience. I have also recommended it to a lot of my friends.
