These side-by-side virtual reality-equipped simulations, which operate out of Hangar 8 at Blackpool Airport, are fantastic - and will have you completely immersed in your combat flying operations. In these high-tech VR simulators, we offer 60-minute cooperative experiences for two in Blackpool. The Air Combat Pro setup has stunning 360-degree visuals and a full-motion cockpit seat, so you'll feel every missile launch and barrel roll. This squad has prepared a number of difficult objectives for you - learning aerobatics, shooting weapons, and doing some by-the-seat-of-your-pants low level runs through valleys and over hilly terrain in the aircraft of your choice. There will also be some difficult airborne missions for you to complete.

Great fun. Took a while to book due to technical issues at the time, but this shouldnt affect future bookings. Looking forward to going again.

The flight simulator was an incredible experience. The tutor was exceptional in every way, friendly, gave good clear instruction and really added to the overall enjoyment of the experience. As for the sim itself and the VR headset, the level of reality is so high that its scary when you know youre going to make a smoking hole in the hillside 3 times in my case. Although it was mostly about fun I came away with a much greater insight into just how difficult it must be to control a fighter plane, go into combat and survive. I would heartily recommend this to anyone with even a passing interest in aviation. Top drawer.
