Get to know the picturesque countryside surrounding Ely and Cambridgeshire with a 45 Minute Microlight Flight from Sutton Meadows Airfield. Regarded by most as one of the best centres for Microlighting, if you're keen to start your flying journey and feel confident in the skies, you won't want to miss out on an experience from here. This flex-wing Microlight, which will probably be a P&M GT450 is the ideal plane to learn in as it's easy to fly with simple controls but the pilot will run through everything for you before you move an inch from the ground. And then here comes the fun part - you'll be getting dressed up in a helmet, flying suit and goggles, all provided on the day! This is an open cockpit experience, so you'll be immersed in the natural elements through the duration of your flight as you get to grips with the controls and soar across the Fens and the endless rolling hills of Cambridgeshire. It can be a welcome refreshment on a hot sunny day, but rest assured you'll feel protected against the elements with all the equipment provided. I was giving this microlight flight as a gift, Wow what a experience, it was great. Had a quick tour of the microlight with instruction as to what things were and how to mount and dismount safely. we were up and in the air in no time travelling at 80mph seemed like we were stood still as very hard to gauge speed with nothing passing you, height wise most of time at 1100ft then up to 2000ft when near airport. headset communication at all times was clear and informative as to where we was and what we was doing. Can highly recommend.

Loved it. Small very private airfield, easy to find, my instructor was very patient and friendly, long flight, really enjoyed it. Will definitely book another lesson there, would recommend.

This was by far the most exhilarating experience that I have ever done, Mark was very professional and put any apprehensions I had at ease, hes clearly very experienced, you can see that the equipment is very state of the art and highly maintained, Ill definitely be doing it again and recommending to everyone.

WOW WOW WOW Im totally speechless, this was an amazing experience, I was very nervous but Mark being an absolute professional put me totally at ease so much so that Im definitely going to do it again and Im going to but a voucher for my other half so that we can both fly at the same time, Mark has two aircraft and he said that we come both go up at the same time and fly in formation, I really cant wait Thanks to the team
