As experiences go, Flying Lessons at Biggin Hill are pretty special. It's hard not to feel inspired by the aviation history that surrounds this place as it was used during the Battle of Britain by the RAF as a key base during WW2. History is everywhere you look when you visit, and it will be at the back of your mind as you take off through the skies on your lesson. As soon as you arrive, you'll probably notice how long the runway is as you get introduced to the 4-seater plane you're going to be learning in. Your experienced instructor will take care of the takeoff, but after that, it's all over to you! Nothing prepares you for your first flight through the skies where you are in control, but as you soar over Kent and London it's safe to say the views will be pretty special. In this lesson, you'll be focusing on mastering the 'straight and level' which is a key component of the pilot syllabus and will be an invaluable skill to have if you choose to take it further and train for a licence. Well all I can say is wow what a great day for taking to the skies around Sevenoaks from Biggin Hill airport took the controls and flew the plane.Had a laugh with the pilot as we walked around the plane doing preflight checks engine dam thought someone nicked it small compact engine thought someone replaced it with one from flymo blink and youll miss it All I can say is great day, great pilot and great time thank you.

- Although time slots are allocated please be aware that aircraft lessons are subject to a number of factors which may potentially cause delay to your scheduled time
- Whilst every effort will be made to help keep you on time we ask for a degree of latitude owing to the nature of flying, air traffic delays and weather considerations

- Spectators are welcome to attend and watch participants in flight with plenty of great photo opportunities
- An interested observer (min age 14) may observe the lesson from the rear seat subject to weight restrictions and at the discretion of the instructor
- Multiple trial lesson purchases cannot be combined for PPL qualifications, however, additional hours may be purchased direct from the supplier

Superb experience flying from Biggin Hill Apart from takeoff and landing I did most of the flying and really started to get the hang of it.Well recommended but bear in mind that it is weather dependent.

the experience was amazing where i got to fly the booking process was a bit of an issue. since the lesson is weather dependent i had rebooked my class more than 5 times and the lesson which i was suppose to take in august last year was finally taken in april this year

My I hour introductory flying lesson was very enjoyable and informative. I flew the plane for about 40 mins, although the instructor handled take off and landing for obvious reasons. Well worth it.

I had a flying lession in Piper Warrior PA28 as my birthday present. Really enjoyed the whole experience. The EFG flying school staff was very friendly and welcoming. My instructor Paul was very experienced, clear and reassuring. I was able to do quite a lot during an hour and got a real feel of how to fly a plane. Really recommend this experience to anybody.
