Vintage military aircraft lovers will be absolutely in their element on this incredible value package combining a 30 minute flight in a Tiger Moth biplane with entrance to the Imperial War Museum in Duxford in Cambridgeshire! Designed and created by de Havilland in the 1930s for use as a training aircraft, it quickly became synonymous with RAF trainee fighter pilots during World War II and beyond until being demobbed in 1954, continuing in civilian aviation for many years after that. You'll be flying in the cockpit of one of four faithfully restored DF112 Tiger Moths that are based at Duxford, painted in their original training yellow livery. After a truly nostalgic flight in the skies, you'll then head over to enjoy your complimentary entrance into the Imperial War Museum, with over 3 hours worth of exhibitions and displays to explore that cover Britain's rich and storied military aviation history.

The weather on the day was a bit hit and miss, but we got off in between showers and I received several text updates from IntoTheBlue throughout the day keeping me informed of how things were looking, which allowed me to get on with enjoying the museum until the weather cleared sufficiently.
