The Harvard is known by many names, the most notable being "The Pilot Maker" due to its role in preparing USAF pilots for combat. It was a classroom for the pilots, having trained several hundred thousand over 25 years. Operating out of White Waltham Airfield, home to the West London Aero Club. This specific Harvard was built in 1942 as a Spitfire by Noorduyn Aviation in Montreal, Quebec, being utilised at No.6 Service Flying Training School for the RCAF. Following its service, the Harvard was decommissioned in 1946 and subsequently relocated to Sweden for retirement. After Undergoing extensive restoration upon its arrival in the UK in 2016, including a fresh coat of its RAF livery, the Harvard is now in pristine condition and ready for action, just when it was when it took its first flight. Had an awesome, never to be forgotten flight in the Harvard. The pilot was brilliant and asked if I wanted the option for him to demonstrate some aerobatics. I never thought I would be flying upside down in an 83 year old aeroplane. I would recommend this experience to any aviation enthusiasts.

It was a brilliant ecperience, I only wish it lasted longer as it was over all too soon.Unfortunately I havent any photos for you because my son was unable to attend to fulfil that duty.What really impressed me was how clean and shiny the interior of the Harvard was. I wish I could have taken shots of the interior for keep sake .Perhaps you might think of doing something for customers to take away as a memento.Your pilot on the day was most helpful in explaining cockpit layout and procedures as well as in flight aerobatics.I found it a most memorable enjoyable experience.Also sad not to see the two hurricanes on site but gathered they were at Duxford

Excellent experience from start to finish easy to book in and the Pilot Tom was amazing he explained every step of the way throughout the briefing and start up then the flight. Havent had this much fun in a long time so much so that i cannot wait to book my next flight.

Excellent from the start easy check in and a comprehensive briefing from the pilot Tom. He explained everything procedure wise to get the harvard started up from cold explaining everything in the cockpit. Then the flight was magical for such an old machine. Couldnt believe the ease in which it conducted aerobatics so smooth. I havent had this much fun in a long time to the extent i cant wait to do it again. My hat goes off to Tom he explained everything so clearly and was totally brilliant. Sorry about the multiple pics please edit which ones you would like.
