My flight took place on an extremely warm day, there was plenty to do for my family at this small airport whilst my family waited. My pilot Malcolm was very good, had a friendly chat beforehand as to what I wanted out of the flight, was very good at explaining what he was doing throughout the flight. It was positive there were no pushy sales tactics to book further lessons it was very relaxed.

Beautifully presented gift box at no additional cost. It was easy to book and the actual experience was beyond what I expected. My son actually spent an hour in the air and a lot of that time he was actually flying The instructor suggested he fly to our home address, which he did. He then supported the instructor to refuel the aircraft after his session. Was a throughly enjoyable experience.

A big thank you to the team at the Flying School for a fantastic trial flying lesson this afternoon, 30 June 2025. Before arrival, the responsiveness from the office team was firstclass. On arrival, the reception was very welcoming, professional, and full of good humour, creating a great atmosphere in the crew room. My Instructor, Phil, is a natural, and guided me through all that I did not know. After observing me at the controls for 5 minutes, he coaxed me out of my initial heavyhandedness, and I then relaxed and thoroughly enjoyed getting the feel of the aeroplane. The whole experience was fantastic, and I may just be hooked So, a big thank you to everyone. Steve Bloor

I had a fantastic flying lesson at Barton. I hadnt expected to be able to take the controls as much as I did, in fact when I first learned this as we were walking to the plane, I almost changed my mind My instructor was so friendly and explained everything so clearly and patiently that any fears were soon dismissed. I absolutely loved every minute of my lesson and was sorry when it was over. I can highly recommend to anyone, it really is a chance in a lifetime
