When it comes to flying, there’s nothing like learning to fly in a helicopter. Mastering these nifty aircrafts requires a large amount of skill, patience and resilience because they are always tricker than they look. Had a fantastic time on a bright day flying over the Thanet coast. Must thank the instructor Mr Thomas for his patience and skill at explaining how the controls worked. I had a warm welcome at Polar Helicopters and would thoroughly recommend them to everyone. An amazing experience actually to fly a helicopter wanted to do that since seeing Whirlybirds as a child Oh dear, that shows my age Thanks for a great afternoon.

Fantastic experience. I cannot recommend Polar Helicopters enough. Of the 30 minute introductory lesson I was flying the helicopter for well over 25 minutes. The instructor was brilliant at explaining everything.

Brought this for my mum who is 84 ,she loved it and wanted to stay all day up flying. I went along too and thought it was amazing .she wants to do it again for her 90th birthday ,I would say to anybody to try it its great fun .

I bought a helicopter lesson for my brother in law at Manston Airport, Kent. With the rest of us watching at least the beginning and the landing we had a great family day out. My brother in law had a generous time in the air and being in control, and was able to see a good chunk of S E England from an interesting perspective.nbsp The crew at the helicopter company made us all feel at home. This Helicopter centre was an efficient and very friendly outfit. The staff were very friendly and helpful both whilst booking and on the day of the experience. The pilot made sure my time was spent doing as I wanted, I didnt want to spend too much time trying to fly so I had a wonderful time enjoying the flight and seeing a lot of the S.E. coast from above. Im a 63 year old woman and would recommend this experience to anyone.
