  • 60 Minute Introductory Flight out of Elstree Aerodrome

  • Fly in the Cessna 152

    • A preflight briefing with your pilot
    • Your flight will last for 60 minutes
    • There may be an opportunity to take the controls for part of the flight, at the discretion of your pilot
    • Introductory flights will be in a 2-seater Cessna 152
    • Flight times are quoted 'chock to chock', ie. from when the plane starts to taxi, to when it switches off at the end
    • A certificate upon completion
    • Spectators are welcome to to watch both take off and landing
    • Minimum age is 14 years old
    • Under-18s must be accompanied by an adult on the airfield
    • Two forms of identity, including a photographic ID will be required on the day
    Two-Seater Restrictions:
    • Maximum weight 14 stone
    • Maximum height 6ft 1ins
    • Available on weekdays and weekdays throughout the year
    • Dates and flight times are subject to availability and weather conditions

On arrival we were greated by a nice lady she made us all fill very welcome. She then went through what was going to happen on my flight.on meeting the pilot he then went over the controls of the plan.he then took the plan to the runway a told me that I was to take the plan off and was left in control of the plan for the full hour of my lesson.i had done a helicopter lesson and this was far better I had an amazing hour Kind regards Peter lake

Fantastic experience and amazingly friendly staff. Very friendly staff and the instructor was very reassuring, supportive and funny. My boyfriend loved taking control of the flight and I thoroughly enjoyed taking pictures of the amazing views from the back seat. Highly recommended.

I was bought a flying lesson by my wife for my birthday. It was a very enjoyable experience, booking was easy and intotheblue were excellent when I called to make an amendment when I decided to take my dad as well. The provider was very friendly, efficient and made the experience very relaxing and fun. I would recommend intotheblue and the provider Flight Training London to family and friends.

Fully enjoyed the experience, the customer service was great at every single contact, before on and after the day. Only downside was the flight was late, but that didnt matter as we enjoyed watching the planes taking off and landing.

This is a difficult review as the booking was flawless and they were very reasonable about my diary changes. The instructor was great and put me at complete ease. The take off was fine and good fun, but the only problem is that I did not enjoy the rest of the experience at all. The cockpit is hot and cramped, but I guess that is light aircraft flying. If you dont mind that sort of thing then you will love it and I highly recommend the team at Elstree. If you turn as green as I did then its not really the experience for you or loved one. Overall Im really glad I did it as how do you know if its for you, until you have had a go

Very easy to make the booking with Elstree Aerodrome. Everything worked perfectly on the day for my grandsons flying experience. He had a terrific time and hasnt stopped talking about it since, and the rest of the family enjoyed an afternoon out at Elstree and the friendly cafe.The flying instructor was excellent reassuring, engaging and friendly.
