Surfing Experience Days: This two-hour surfing lesson in Cornwall is the perfect introduction to one of the world’s most exciting and addictive sports. Held at one of the UK’s top surfing beaches, it’s an ideal way to learn the basics and experience the thrill of catching your very first wave.

After signing in at the surf school, you’ll be kitted out with a wetsuit and board before heading down to the sand for some land-based practice. Under the guidance of expert instructors, you’ll learn essential skills like paddling and the all-important ‘pop up’ to get you standing on the board.

Once you’re confident on land, it’s time to hit the water and put your new skills to the test. Expect plenty of fun splashing around as you chase waves, and nothing compares to the moment you finally rise to your feet and ride towards shore.

By the end of your session, you’ll have a real taste of the surfing lifestyle and a great foundation to build on. Whether it’s a one-off adventure or the start of a new passion, this Cornwall surfing lesson is an unforgettable experience.

  • Minimum Age: 7

    There is no upper age limit for surf lessons - 67 is the surf school's current record, but you are welcome to try and beat it! The surfing lessons are not suitable for pregnant women or for people with neck/back injuries.

  • Your surfboard, wetsuit, and any other necessary surf gear will be provided at the centre.

    Please wear a swimming costume, and bring a warm change of clothing for after your surfing lesson. You should also bring along some sunscreen to protect your skin.

  • The surf school is open all year round, for those brave enough to face the winter swells! Contact us if you have a specific date in mind.

    Spectators are very welcome to come and watch the surfing lessons from the beach.
