Over the course of around two hours you will learn the basics with a qualified instructor showing you how to get moving steer and stop with confidence. About the Experience

Land yachting is a brilliantly fun outdoor activity that combines fresh air excitement and something a little bit different from the usual day out. Ideal for sharing with a friend or trying as a potential new hobby it is a great way to enjoy a couple of hours doing something memorable. Your experience lasts around two hours and is suitable for complete beginners as well as those who have had a go before. A fully qualified instructor will be with you throughout showing you the essentials from getting started and steering to slowing down and stopping safely. Once you are comfortable you will head out on short runs along the runway starting at gentle speeds before gradually building up pace and distance as your confidence grows. Most people get the hang of it surprisingly quickly and there is nothing quite like skimming across the grass with the wind in your hair. If you enjoy adventure and a bit of adrenaline this is a fantastic experience and it also makes a great gift for anyone who loves trying something new.

  • The minimum age for this experience is 16, with the maximum weight 16 stone

    All participants must sign a disclaimer before the experience begins.

  • Participants should wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing. All yachting equipment will be provided.

  • This voucher covers two participants.

    Please note this is not two people in the yacht at the same time. You will rotate round every 10 - 15 minutes.

    Spectators are welcome on site, however visibility may be limited once the experience begins. Within a 1 minute walk there is free parking, toilets, cafe, restaurant and a bar.

  • The experience lasts two hours with the time split between the two participants, however you should allow more time at the centre.
