Then, securely harnessed to your qualified instructor, you will board a high-speed aircraft and climb high above the Cambridgeshire countryside. Stepping out at 15,000ft is a moment you will never forget. You will freefall at around 125mph for an incredible extended descent, feeling the pure thrill of flight before your instructor deploys the parachute.   • Take part in a short pre-jump training session (around 20 minutes)
  • Soak up incredible views as you climb to your jump altitude, building anticipation for the leap of a lifetime.

    • Enjoy a thrilling tandem skydive in Cambridge
    • A short training session (approx 20 minutes) to learn body positions to adopt when leaving the aircraft, whilst in free-fall and upon landing
    • Get kitted up with a final equipment check before heading off to the aircraft
    • Enjoy the scenery as you fly to your jump altitude
    • Freefall at around 125 mph for approx 10 seconds for 15,000ft jumps
    • Your instructor will deploy the parachute at around 5,000ft
    • Enjoy approx 5 minutes of tranquillity as you float back down to earth under the fully opened parachute
    • A video of your jump can be booked in advance directly with the skydiving school with various options from £119
    • Provisional membership fee for 'British Skydiving' is not included and must be paid when booking your date (currently £26.41)
    • There are on-site toilets, showers and changing facilities
    • The on-site cafe serves hot and cold food and drink throughout the day
    • There is also a club bar on site
    • A variety of accommodation is available, camping on site is free, there is also a communal bunkroom, which is also free to stay in
    • The drop zone uses two Nomad N22B aircraft that can take 14 jumpers
    • It is not permissible to wear any form of camera unless you are already an experienced skydiver with at least 200 jumps and the club chief instructor's permission
    • There is an additional charge for a BPA membership payable directly when making your booking
    • Spectators are welcome to come and watch and can video the action from the spectator area
    • No pets are allowed on site
    • Participants mustn't be overweight in relation to their height
    • Reasonable levels of fitness also apply
    • If you have any medical conditions, please check with your doctor if this experience is suitable for you
    • Anyone under the age of 18 will require written parental consent
    • Minimum age is 16, there is no upper limit for tandem jumps

    Tandem Jump

    • The maximum jump weight limit is 16 stone
    • Anyone over 15 stone will be required to pay an extra £10 to cover the additional workload for the instructor
    • Tandem jumps take place weekdays and weekends between March and November
