So what better way to discover it than from a new perspective, on this 15 minute helicopter sightseeing tour? Taking off from Leicester Airport, located a few miles southeast of Leicester city centre, your flight path will head out towards the towns and villages that lie south, east and north-east of the city. This will include the pretty market towns of Market Harborough and Oakham, as well as Melton Mowbray, famed for being Britain's "Rural Capital of Food", and the birthplace of the pork pie. And your pilot will pass on many anecdotes about each place you fly to and point out all the key landmarks over the in-flight intercom so you won't miss anything!

  • Wear a specialist helicopter pilot's headset to be able to communicate with the pilot
