About the experience
If you’re an adrenaline junkie you will love our white water tubing for two. In the UK’s first purpose built white water course, Nene white water centre in Northampton is the place to give this sport a go. You will have a wild ride down the 300m long course in an inflatable tube. You will both join a group of up to 8 people but don't worry you’ll still have plenty of runs in your 1.5 hour time slot. The experienced instructors will keep you safe and teach you everything you will need to know to glide down the course with ease. Whether you’re a strong swimmer or not, you can still ride the rapids. Once you’ve got out of the cold water you can jump straight into the hot showers on site and also grab something from their cafe before you head home.

Information
- 1.5 hour white water tubing session
- Welcome, introduction and safety briefing
- Navigate the 300m whitewater course in an inflatable tube
- Tuition and assistance from a trained tubing instructor
- All safety equipment is provided
- You will form part of a group of up to 8 participants
- Participants should bring a towel, swimwear, old shorts and a pair of shoes that can get wet
- Wetsuits are provided free of charge
- The centre has full changing room and showering facilities including those for the disabled, a cafeteria, a lift and training rooms, if required
- There is ample parking on site
- Nearby hotels and B&B accommodation can be recommended
Minimum Age: 7 years
- Tuesdays from June to September start at 6:30pm
- Saturdays and Sundays from March to October
- March and October Saturdays start at 12:30pm
- April to September Saturdays start at 11:30am
- March and October Sundays start at 1:30pm and 3:30pm
- April to September Sundays start at 1pm and 3:30pm
- Under 18's must have a completed parental consent form
- You do not have to be a swimmer but must be confident being in and around water whilst wearing a floatation aid
- Spectators are welcome to come and watch
- Viewing areas provide great views of the action
