About the experience
You are in for a wild ride with this White Water Rafting Experience at the Teesside Barrage Centre. Their purpose built course has 350 metres of man made rapids, with multiple descents for you to tackle. Your session will include 1 and a half hours in the water being guided down the course, paddling through the twists, drops and sharp turns. This fast and unforgettable experience doesn't require any prior experience, you just need to be willing to get stuck in. The centre is home to the biggest artificial drop in the UK which you might get to experience if you show your best paddling skills. We are sure you will love every minute.

Information
- A 2 hour White Water Rafting experience
- Introduction and safety briefing
- Each raft holds a maximum of six participants
- Around 1.5 hours on the water
- All safety equipment is provided
- Please bring swimwear and trainers, which you don't mind getting wet, a towel and a change of clothing
- Refreshments and snacks can be purchased from the on site cafe with views over the River Tees
- Lockers are available for 20p

- Sessions run at 10:00 - 12:00, 13:00 - 15:00 and 15:00 - 17:00
- Spectators are welcome to come and watch, there are facilities on site
