Unleash the archer within at the Cotswold Archery Range School, where the motto is "Finding the archer from within." Experience the thrill of archery amidst the stunning beauty of Batsford Arboretum near Moreton in Marsh. Our professional and approachable instructors will guide you through the Olympic sport of archery with hands-on practice and expert training. Your 90-minute session will involve using a wooden three-piece recurve training bow, with targets placed at an 18-meter distance (10 meters for juniors aged 8 to 11). As your accuracy improves, we will challenge you by moving the targets further away, keeping you engaged and motivated. What sets this archery experience apart is the opportunity to use the wooden recurve training bow with the shooting style of bare-bow, requiring a specific technique and different way of handling. - 90-minute archery session in the Cotswolds
- Located in the lovely Batsford Arboretum
- Learning to shoot with the recurve bow
- The basic shooting style of bare-bow shooting
- 90-minute archery experience, maximum of two archers per target
- Full range safety briefing and demonstration of shooting the bow by your archery instructor
- The first hour will be spent on the wooden three-piece training bow
- You will then have the opportunity to shoot six arrows each, on the metal Olympic recurve bow and the Syrian horse bow, at the targets set at 18 metres
- You may form part of a group of up to a maximum of 12 other participants
- All archery equipment is provided

- Under-18s must be accompanied on-site by an adult
- Suitable for all levels of ability and experience
- Experiences available seven days a week
- The start time is generally 10.30 am
- Available January to December
- All experiences are subject to weather conditions
- If cancelled, they can be rebooked within the voucher expiry date
- At a dedicated archery range in Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire
Minimum Age: 8 years
- Exclusive use of the archery range for groups can be arranged
- Allocated seating is available for booked archers and one spectator per booking
- Other spectators are welcome but may not be seated
- Well-behaved dogs on short leads are welcome
- The site has a sheltered shooting line and waiting area
