About the experience
Those with a burgeoning interest in Great Britain's military aviation history will enjoy this superb 15 minute flight in a bonafide Tiger Moth biplane, together with entrance to the historic Imperial War Museum in Duxford in Cambridgeshire. You'll enjoy a 15 minute flight, kitted up in a 'Biggles' flying jacket, goggles and helmet, with an expert pilot at the controls, whilst you sit in the passenger seat of the open cockpit of this timeless training aircraft that was used for the training of many RAF fighter pilots during World War II, faithfully painted in the original training yellow livery implemented by the Tiger Moth's original designers and builders, de Havilland. After an exciting 15 minute flight, upon landing you'll head on over to the Imperial War Museum to enjoy your complimentary admission to over 3 hours of incredible and informative displays, exhibitions and aircraft.

- Minimum age for Tiger Moth flights is 16
- Maximum weight limit is 18 stone
- You need to be agile enough to climb into the cockpit
- You are welcome to bring friends and family along however they will need to enter the museum to view the flight
- Entry to IWM Duxford is compulsory for participants and accompanying guests. Guests will enjoy half price entry to the site, children under 5 go free
- Refreshments are available on site for spectators to purchase
- Free parking and full facilities on site
- Disabled wheelchairs are available

- Flights take place on regular weekends including bank holidays, and selected weekdays from mid-March to mid-November
- All flights are weather dependent but don't worry if your flight is cancelled you can rebook for a convenient time
- A visit to Duxford is a day out in itself so leave plenty of time to look around
- There's a café on site

- Cameras cannot be taken on board due to safety reasons
