The Soho Music Experience - London
About the experience
Explore the iconic landmarks of London that helped shape the best of the British music scene with this guided music themed walking tour of Soho and Mayfair! Under the guidance of a music expert, you'll get to discover some of the Capital's best known - and hidden gems - of places woven into the fabric of British pop and rock history on this 3 ½ hour long tour. And you really will see everything on this tour - from iconic venues such as The Marquis Club and the epicentre of the action in the swinging 60s, Carnaby Street, as well as Berwick Street in the heart of Soho, where Oasis shot the cover of their classic 1995 album "(What's The Story) Morning Glory?" and the former building of the Apple record label in Savile Row where The Beatles performed together for the final time in 1969. One special highlight of the tour will be visiting a special mural that pays homage to Soho's long running links with music and how it has inspired many creatives and artists along the way, from Mozart via punk, ska and rock right up to the present day. There will also be a mid-tour break at The Starman pub in Heddon Street, that is synonymous with David Bowie and his glam alter ego, Ziggy Stardust. At the conclusion of the tour, you'll head onto one of the trendiest venues in Soho to enjoy a two course lunch and a cocktail to finish this epic tour for music lovers everywhere on a high!
