Experience the thrill of air rifle shooting in the stunning Yorkshire Dales at a premier shooting ground. Surrounded by rolling countryside, you'll be welcomed with open arms and have access to excellent facilities, including a warm log fire in the clubhouse on cold winter days. Air rifle shooting is an Olympic sport that is accessible to all ages and abilities. It's more about skill than strength, as you'll need to focus on stability, calmness, and coordination to hit your targets. At our Yorkshire centre, you'll have the opportunity to try three different rifle setups, each with traditional paper targets and knockdown targets that pop back up when hit. Using modern sporting air rifles with longer barrels than pistols, you'll be able to shoot accurately at greater distances as your skills improve. Before you start, your expert tutor will guide you through loading and explain the different stances you can adopt. They'll ensure you have the right gun for your physique, as gun fit is crucial for comfort and accuracy. Once you're ready, you'll have around an hour to shoot air rifles at this stunning Yorkshire ground. Everything you need is included in the package, and if you become hooked on this thrilling sport, the centre has an excellent shop where you can find everything from 12b shotguns, ammunition, and rifles to shooting clothes. - Comfortable clothing and sensible footwear are recommended
- No one who is pregnant can participate but are welcome to watch
- The shooting ground is Tuesday to Sunday, all year round
- Ranges have a covered roof so weather will not affect your experience

- Spectators are welcome and can see all the action under a covered viewing area
