About the experience

Find out what its like to drive a FV432 tank around an ex-World War II bombing range in Leicestershire on this awesome Tank driving taster experience. When its not your turn to drive you'll still be having a great time as a passenger in the turret seat.

Itinerary

A one hour tank driving experience based on a crew of 3 people per tank.
Welcome and briefing
Two laps of hands-on driving time
Approx 15 minutes and 4 laps as a passenger
FREE entry to the museum displaying a large military vehicle collection
Use of a tank suit and helmet for the experience

Note: for groups of less than 3 people per tank times will vary.

You can order a 10-month gift voucher or book onto any available date. You can upgrade the validity to 14 months when you order.

Minimum age: 16
Minimum height: 4ft 0in
Maximum height: 6ft 4in
Maximum weight: 22 stone
No driving licence is required
Use of a tank suit and helmet for the experience
Spectators are welcome, a fee per spectator will be charged, which also includes museum entry
Good understanding of the English language is required for instruction purposes
The experience content, equipment used and restrictions may vary
No dogs allowed on site
Participants must be medically fit to take part
Anyone deemed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to participate
