About the experience

Experience a quintessentially British evening of music, entertainment, and fireworks by attending one of the many picnic concerts hosted at some of England's finest country house estates. Delight in the festival atmosphere while you gather in the historic grounds, taking in the beauty of your surroundings, and listening to a full orchestra perform a soul-stirring program of familiar classics. The evening's entertainment includes moving arias from an incredible soprano, as well as the spectacle of Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture and Beethoven's ambitious "Battle Symphony" with over 200 live cannons firing. Before the orchestra takes the stage, enjoy toe-tapping vintage vocals from a live warm-up band while you unpack your picnic and crack open some bubbly. The mounted cavalry will showcase a colourful skill-at-arms display featuring a variety of historic regalia, followed by a breathtaking freefall display from the army's Red Devils parachute team. You'll witness the legendary 'Grace' Spitfire arriving in a stunning display as the orchestra plays the opening pieces of the evening. As the evening draws to a close, join in the traditional sing-along finale featuring classics like Jerusalem and Rule Britannia, accompanied by a dazzling firework display that illuminates the summer night sky. With four venues to choose from, these concerts offer an excellent evening of summer entertainment to look forward to, with picnic, music, and friends all in a stunning setting. Of course, these concerts just wouldn't be the same without some food and fizz, so why not upgrade your tickets to include the picnic basket option and you'll be furnished with a tasty spread? Or, you can also go for the Prosecco option and enjoy a bottle of bubbly!
