About the experience
It's just you behind the wheel in your very own Formula Race Car! Don't worry, you will get some practice learning the best driving line and braking points with an instructor in a race-prepared Honda Civic Type-R. You are then out on track with all the other exicted drivers for 10 laps in the 130bhp Single Seater. The acceleration and handling will blow you away, and it makes it even more special knowing that you are driving around Scotland's only FIA and Motorsport UK Accredited Race Circuit - Knockhill. This voucher is valid for weekend and weekday bookings.
- Welcome and track briefing
- 4 Practice laps with instruction in a Honda Civic Type-R
- 10 Laps driving the 130bhp Formula Race Car
- Debrief with driver assessment, awards and certificates
Time at the venue is approx. 2 hours.
Information
Once you have ordered your voucher, as soon as it arrives (by email or post) you can place your booking directly with Knockhill Circuit.
Drivers must be 17 years or older and hold a full, UK driving licence.
Drivers will need to wear flat-soled shoes suitable for driving (no flip flops, high heels, sandals etc).
Spectators are welcome free of charge.
No pets are permitted at the Circuit (except guide dogs)
There will be other drivers doing the same experience out on track so a lead car driven by an intructor may be used to control the pace.
Minimum Age: 17 years
Minimum Height: 147.00 cm
This voucher allows you to book on any available slot including weekend dates. There will usually be 1 or 2 week days and 1 weekend date per month.
Extra laps and in-car video footage can be paid for on the day.
Waterproof suits will be provided on rainy days. If an event ever gets called off due to severe weather then you will be able to rearrange your date with Knockhill but miust do so within 3 months or before the expiry date on your voucher.
