About the experience
Get ready for an unforgettable experience at Dorset's top shooting ground! Nestled in 50 acres of scenic heathland and conifer plantation, this is the ultimate destination for clay pigeon shooting near Wareham, between Dorchester and Poole. Established in 1995 by acclaimed shooter Graham Brown, this family-run school has been awarded the prestigious title of Clay Shooting School of the Year. The unique topography of the terrain allows for a wide variety of shooting setups, from skeet and simulated games to English and FITASC sporting. The school features various target stands, including weather-covered stands, a high tower, and stands suitable for disabled access. It takes pride in offering a complete range of shotguns and ammunition. With lighter and easy-to-use firearms available, even young shooters as young as 12 can join in on the excitement. Upon arrival, your experienced instructor will provide a comprehensive safety briefing and outline the lesson. Throughout the session, you'll receive expert guidance to improve your shooting technique as you take aim at clays launched at different speeds and angles. The lesson begins on the practice site and progresses to the main shooting course for an exhilarating finish.
