The course suitable for beginners and those who are no stranger to the jet ski, will cover all the essentials and basics with both on water and classroom learning. Learn about: launching and recovery, Low and high speed handling, man overboard recovery, marina handling, towing and emergency situations, basic navigation, passage planning, road rules, weather, tides, aftercare and maintenance. At the end of the day course you will be feeling confident on board, and if successful gain your RYA (Royal Yacht Association) certificate, letting you apply for the PW International Certificate of Competence (ICC) afterwards.   • You will form part of a small group of up to 6 participants for this experience
  • The activity isn't really suitable for spectators however there is usually lots to see at the marina
  • Changing facilities and showers are provided

Information

Minimum Age: 12 years

  • Courses operate on selected dates from March to November, subject to availability
  • Available on weekdays and weekends

  • You should be confident in the water
  • You'll need to bring a towel and swimwear to wear under your wetsuit
  • All riders will need to sign a waiver declaring that they have no known impairment or illness that may affect them operating the watercraft safely
  • You will be covered for public liability Insurance but Personal Accident Insurance is recommended
  • Suitable for those with little or no jet ski experience through to those looking to gain certification
