About the experience
At the beginning of this exciting sessions you will be introduced to the raptors in the aviary and on the weathering lawn. The birds will then be trained to land on your gloved hand when you are given a glove. It is simply stunning when one of these magnificent raptors swoops down and then lands delicately on your outstretched arm. After your hands-on time with the raptors, you and your bird will surely become best friends. Finish the day with a Segway tour around the centre and countryside after your contact with the raptors to add even more depth and complete your whole experience in Cheshire.

Raptor Experiences for Two
- A full 1.5 hours with the Raptors
- A meet and greet with your falconer and the birds
- Access to the weathering lawn and aviary
- You will handle and learn how to fly one of the birds to your hand
- With this Segway combo you will both also receive a one-hour woodland glide through a 12-acre woodland

Information
- Minimum participant age is 14 years
- Under 18's must be accompanied by an adult
- Group sizes are kept small usually with no more than 8 guests per instructor
- Suitable outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear should be worn
- The Cheshire venue permits friends and family to come and watch and take photographs
- Spectator fee for the raptor experience is £10 (please mention when booking your date)
- Spectator fees are paid directly on the day
Minimum Age: 14 years
- Falconry experiences operate all year round, subject to availability
- Experiences operate on both weekdays and weekends
- The half day course runs from 09:30 to 12:30
- This venue is not as vulnerable to adverse weather as some centres, as there is a 75' barn in which the flying can take place in wet or windy conditions
- You are welcome to bring a camera along
- The centre can help with advice on good hotels and B and Bs within the local Cheshire countryside

Really enjoyed our falconry experience, as we were initially apprehensive not knowing what to expect. The bird man who was with us was very patience and amusing and we spent a while handling the birds. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience, especially as owls are my favourite birds.

Great experience,staff very knowledgeable and would recommend to anyone with an interest in birds of prey. The only downside is the extra cost of a partner to watch. £20 is a bit much .

Venue well signposted on arrival at site.Interesting information, very pleasant and thoughtful member of staff. Flights went on for longer than expected and everyone had the birds landing on his/her arm several times.
Generous with his time . Started promptly, and tea/coffee at the end.

Experience was brilliant. Rob the falconer made everything interesting and his presentation was very entertaining and informative. If I had more time I would have upgraded and stayed for at least half the day. In the event I will likely go back and do a whole day session. Nothing to be scared of and a fantastic experience to have such amazing creatures so close up.
