With expert guidance from an assigned instructor, you'll receive an on-shore briefing before venturing out onto the sparkling freshwater lake. It may take a little time to get used to the feeling of floating on water, but don't worry, the instructors will be there to support you every step of the way. As your confidence grows, you'll stand up on your board and be able to paddle around the lake with ease. The calm and peaceful environment of the inland waters provides a perfect setting to learn this exciting sport. Lee Valley paddleboarding welcomes children as young as eight, and with a participating adult, it's an excellent opportunity for the whole family to try something new together.

Information
- Minimum age 8
- Under 12s must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult at all times throughout their visit (including doing the activity)
- Participants aged under 16 must have a responsible adult (over the age of 21 unless legal parent/guardian) who remains on site at Lee Valley White Water Centre for the duration of their activity with one responsible adult to every four children (max)
- Maximum weight 18 stone
- All participants must complete a Flat Water Declaration before the experience. Details will be provided when redeeming your voucher. If under 18, a parent can complete on your behalf
- Valid for use on Saturdays and Sundays with weekdays during national school holidays
- Dates and session times are subject to availability
Minimum Age: 8 years
Maximum Weight: 114.30 kg
- Closed toe shoes must be worn for this experience (No sandals, flip flops or heeled shoes)
- All participants must wear a minimum of shorts and a t-shirt whilst on the activity
- Wetsuits and wetboots are not mandatory, but are available to hire for £5 per person, payable on the day
- There are onsite food outlets where food and refreshments can be purchased with great views of the lake
- On site kids play area and the beautiful nearby River Lee Country Park
- Disc Golf Course pay on the day activities are available to enjoy, subject to availability
- Spectators are welcome to watch the action
