About the experience
Get the chance to get up close and handle beautiful owls in this Owl Encounter held at West Sussex Falconry. You will have the opportunity to meet birds such as Barn Owls and European Eagle Owls, which look even more impressive when close up. The session lasts around 2 hours where you will hold, fly and take photos with these majestic birds. The falconers will welcome you into the centre and introduce you to the owls and the history of the sport of falconry. This experience is sure to be a hoot!

- Owl Encounter
- View and handle a selection of owls including Barn Owls and European Eagle Owls
- Experiences last approximately 2 hours
- You will form part of a group of up to 8 participants
- Tea and coffee are provided for all experiences
- You can usually take photographs of the birds at the Falconers discretion
Minimum Age: 16 years
- Experiences operate throughout the year on most weekdays and weekends
- All sessions are weather dependant
- You are advised to wear suitable dark coloured outdoor clothing
- Spectators are not permitted
