About the experience
Is there a better way to experience the wonders of Scotland than by paddle boarding across the Auchenreoch Loch? Situated in Dumfries and Galloway in the rugged western area, this paddleboarding experience will give you a renewed appreciation for this beautiful landscape and just how large this 100 acre loch is. But be careful, you don’t want to end up being too distracted by the stunning location, as paddle boarding can initially be difficult to master, but that’s why this experience is such a good challenge. First of all, you will be shown the basics of paddle boarding, as you learn how to get on and off the board smoothly. Although this sounds obvious, it’s harder than you think when you combine water and having to balance your body weight. Luckily, our expert instructors will be on hand to show you their tips and tricks throughout the hour session and before you know it, you’ll be an expert in no time. Once your initial training has been completed, you can then enjoy floating your way down across the Loch and soaking up the jaw dropping scenery as you listen to the gentle movement of the water beneath you. For those who are brand new to paddle boarding, or for those who are more reasoned in the sport this is the ideal experience in a location that is sheltered from the hive of tourists, but also home to a restaurant that is perfect for indulging in after your session is over.
