About the experience

Have you or a loved one just got into drone flying, or perhaps you’re thinking about giving it a go? Then this one hour, 1-2-1 drone flying lesson will be absolutely ideal! A particularly good gift idea if you’re local to Alton in Hampshire, as these flying lessons take place at the Cricket Club in the nearby village of Chawton, and are run by commercial CAA certified drone pilots, who have ample years of experience piloting both drones and other unmanned aerial vehicles, so are best placed to teach you everything you need to know about drones and flying them safely, over a series of theory and practical exercises. You’ll become familiar with The Drone Code and also the DJI Go App. Then comes the exciting part as you get the drone up in the air, using a DJI Phantom or Mavic Pro drone - which are ideal for aerial photo and video work - and learning how to take off, control and land them safely. Of course, if you or the budding drone pilot in your life already has your own drone, you’re welcome to bring this along. Either way, you’ll still get the chance to become a confident and proficient drone pilot yourself.
