Welcome to our Cheshire archery venue - the perfect place to experience one of the oldest country pursuits known to man. Our venue offers two options - a classic archery session or a combination of archery and air rifle shooting. Located at Catton Hall, our venue covers over 200 acres of Cheshire countryside and is easily accessible from Manchester, Liverpool, and Chester. During the standard archery experience, you'll receive a welcome and safety briefing and head to the target range with a bow in hand. With an hour to spend aiming at the target, you'll get comfortable with your shot and hit the black circle, then the blue, then the red, and finally, the elusive orange bullseye. At this Cheshire venue, safety is our top priority. Our teachers emphasise the importance of "a keen eye, a steady hand, and quick reactions" for both archery and rifle shooting. Suitable For

There is a minimum age of 12 years old
All under 16s must be accompanied by an adult

Availability

Available on Saturdays throughout the year
Sessions are available from 9:30am through to 4:30pm
Groups of over 7 may be able to take the experience during the week depending on availability

Spectators

Spectators are welcome to view the participants in action from the Veranda at the Lodge Cabin
The cabin offers a wood burning stove, bar, refreshments and toilet facilities

I bought this experience for my husband aged 62. He was a bit puzzled at my choice but he enjoyed it so much that now he wants to take up archery as a regular hobby. The venue was excellent with a lovely cabin cafe that had a simple and inexpensive menu. The staff were very friendly and helpful and you could not fault the whole experience.

Competitive price with good communications. Excellent advice/instruction improved my success rate on target! I was able to try both recurve bow and longbow. Making this comparison helped me decide that a recurve bow will be my first purchase .... with a longbow later!  Really enjoyable and instructive day with good onsite refreshment facilities and friendly staff! I would recommend this course as an introduction to archery ...... My next step will be to join an archery club I am off to join a local archery club!
