About the experience
Stained glass is a beautiful craft and you can learn the skills with this Stained Glass Leading Workshop. The Workshop is run by Jamal Rafay, a stained glass artist and owner of Stained Glassic, that runs the sessions out of his workshop in Birmingham. You will learn the essential skills needed: design, glass cutting, leading, soldering and cementing. You will be provided with a template but are also welcome to bring your own ideas/ sketches. Different shaped fragments are provided to make your design. Your session will last around 6 hours, staring at 9am and finishing around 3pm. Once you have made your stained glass panel, bring it home and hand it somewhere the light will pass through and let all the beautiful colours shine.

- Learn the essential stained glass skills: design, drawing cutlines, glass cutting, leading, soldering and cementing
- Glass pieces that can be used in square circle, rectangle or random shaped fragments are provided
- Participants will be provided with templates to work from although they are welcome to bring along any (practical) ideas/ sketches
- All equipment is provided including aprons and gloves
- Break for lunch (please bring a packed lunch)
- Tea and coffee are provided
- Take home your unique leaded glass creation
- You will be part of a small group of up to 3 participants for this experience
- Under 18's must be accompanied by participating adult
